Accepted: .csv, .tsv, .txt; aggregation caps chart groups for readability.
Charts render locally with Recharts; data preview shows the first 20 rows.

What is a data visualization tool?

How do I create a chart from a CSV file?

Load the CSV in Datio's Visualizer, pick a chart type, and map X to a categorical dimension (like region) and Y to a numeric measure (like revenue). Datio suggests starting fields from your dataset; verify the aggregation in the preview, then export as PNG, SVG, or PDF — or grab the chart data as CSV.

Why can't I select my column for the Y axis?

The Y axis only accepts numeric measures — text and ID-like columns are excluded automatically because they can't be summed or plotted. If no numeric measure exists, use the table or KPI-card view instead. Scatter plots need two numeric measures; histograms need exactly one.

Visualizer or Dashboard — which should I use?

Limitations

Text or ID fields can never be a Y measure, and datasets without numeric measures are limited to table or KPI views. Scatter plots need two numeric measures, and histograms need one numeric column.
