The Dashboard is an online dashboard generator and dashboard builder for CSV data. Load a dataset and pick from four data-driven templates — Category Breakdown, Trend Over Time, Composition & Distribution, or Dataset Overview — with Datio recommending one based on your actual measure, category, and date columns. KPIs, bars, areas, and ranked tables are generated from your values, with a color customizer for the report theme.

How to use it

Load a CSV, TSV, or TXT file (up to 5 MB). If your data is in Excel, save it as CSV first.
Review the detected measure, category, and date fields, then pick a usable template.
Adjust the color customizer if needed — it affects presentation only, never the rows.
Export the report as PNG or paginated PDF, or download the underlying CSV summary.

Can I create a dashboard from an Excel file?

Why is a dashboard template unavailable?

Each template needs specific column types: Category Breakdown needs a category plus a measure, Trend Over Time needs a date plus a measure, and Composition needs a measure. Limitations

Single-file, presentation-only reports up to 5 MB — not a hosted database, with no cloud saving, sharing links, or scheduled refreshes. Templates that need a missing column type stay unavailable until you load a suitable file.
